Cougar and Wolves

This is a cube of mammoth ivory, scrimmed on five sides. The scene depicts a cougar and two wolves. The wolf Spirits are scrimmed above the wolves and across the top.


The back of the cube shows the natural coloration of the exterior of the mammoth ivory; the blue comes from interaction with minerals over thousands of years.
